West Bay Casino Resort
Project Overview
Located off Highway 70 on the shoreline of Lake Texoma, West Bay Casino & Resort is Lake Texoma’s one and only full-service casino and resort. Featuring modern luxury cabins, elevated hotel accommodations, and an array of amenities, this one-of-a-kind retreat is always ready to show you an unforgettable experience.
The Challenge
The casino ballroom needed effective acoustic control while maintaining a warm, contemporary aesthetic. Large open volumes, hard surfaces, and high event noise levels made reverberation a concern, while the linear wood ceiling design required clean integration with lighting, chandeliers, and building systems without disrupting the visual rhythm.
Our Solution
A custom linear acoustical wood ceiling provided targeted sound absorption while preserving the continuous wood pattern. Integrated backing and coordinated detailing improved speech clarity and guest comfort, while seamlessly accommodating lighting, mechanical, and life-safety elements within the ceiling design.
